Péter Müller 'Sziámi' the emblematic figure in the history of Hungarian pop music, the frontman of URH, Kontroll Group and the variously named and formed Sziámi bands, is 70 years old. To mark this jubilee, his current formation, Péter Müller's Sziámi AndFriends, together with the Óbuda Danubia Orchestra, former bandmates and other distinguished guests, will perform the musician's popular old hits and very recent compositions as they have never been performed before.

During the little more than half a year of URH's existence, Péter Müller 'Sziámi' wrote and sang the lyrics of many much-cited songs, then continued this activity in the equally short-lived Kontroll Group, with even more memorable songs, and later became one of the dominant alternative figures of the second half of the 1980s and the 1990s with various Sziámi formations, enriching Hungarian rock music with further timeless compositions. Some of these songs will be performed, along with several new ones, and there will even be a premiere at the evening, where the Danubia Orchestra Óbuda, one of Hungary's leading symphony orchestras and one of the most characteristic artistic ensembles open to genre experimentation, will help to wrap the well-known underground hits in festive decorations. Péter 'Sziámi' Müller, who is celebrating his anniversary, is a key figure in Hungarian alternative culture, who has also worked as a film director, but is also a writer, poet, translator, founder of the Sziget and opera festivals, actor of the Baltazár Theatre - and so much more. A wide range of guests, from Mihály Víg to Róberti Bérczesi and Romano Dromo to Eszter Ónodi, among others, also shed light on this.
