The music in our concert is built upon the dynamic of light and shadow, illustrating how even sunlit melodies would not shine so brightly without the depth of those born in darkness. Conductor Máté Hámori will talk about the pieces, the connections between their tones, the dilemmas of the performers, and the spiritual connection shared by the composers.
