Location: Danubia Orchestra’s rehearsal space (HU-1033 Budapest, Flórián tér 3.)

- Stamitz: Viola Concerto in D Major, or Hoffmeister: Viola Concerto in D Major, 1st Movement with cadence

1.) W. A. Mozart: The Magic Flute – Overture – Measures 27 to 39

2.) Beethoven: Symphony No.5, 2nd Movement – Measures 1 to 10; 49 to 60; 98 to 106

3.) Brahms: Symphony No.4, 4th Movement – B-D (Measures 41 to 80)

4.) Smetana: The bartered bride- Overture- from beginning to 9

5.) Bartók: Concerto, 4th Movement – Measures 42 to 60

6.) Bartók: Violin Concerto No.2, 2nd Movement – From reh. mark 122 to the end

Requirements for attending the audition:

- tertiary level vocational degree,

- work permit for Hungary (for foreign citizens).

Documents required for the application:

- brief résumé including the applicant’s contact details,

- copy of the diplomas certifying education.

In case of a successful application, the scores for the orchestral excerpts can be picked up at the orchestra's office or sent by post or electronic mail on request.

The audition has two rounds. No accompanist is provided by the orchestra.
